주 상파울루 총영사관은 브라질 한인 이민 60주년 계기 국립국악원을 특별 초청하여 ‘한국의 전통예술’을 주제로 기념 공연을 개최한다고 영사관 홈페이지에 공지했다. The Consulate General of São Paulo has announced on its website that it will hold a commemorative performance on the theme of ‘Traditional Korean Arts’ by inviting the National Gugak Center on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Korean immigration to Brazil.

브라질 한인 이민 60주년 기념 국립국악원 초청 공연(4.25)
1951년 한국전쟁 당시 개원한 이래 한국 전통공연 예술의 총본산으로서 역할을 다해 온 국립국악원은 금번 이민 60주년 기념공연에서 ‘사물놀이’, ‘부채춤’, ‘승무’, ‘가야금산조’, ‘아리랑’, ‘판굿’ 등의 다채로운 프로그램으로 한국 및 브라질 관객들을 대상으로 브라질에서는 평소에 접하기 힘든 한국 전통의 미(美)를 소개할 예정이다. Since its establishment during the Korean War in 1951, the National Gugak Center has played a crucial role as the center of traditional Korean performing arts. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its immigration, the center will showcase a variety of programs including “Salmulnori” (percussion ensemble), “Buchaechum” (fan dance), “Seungmu” (monk’s dance), “Gayageum Sanjo” (solo instrumental music), “Arirang” (Korean folk song), and “Pangut” (shamanic ritual music and dance) in order to introduce the beauty of Korean traditional culture, which is difficult to experience in Brazil, to both Korean and Brazilian audiences.
주 상파울루 총영사관은 “금번 공연이 한국전통 예술 소개뿐만 아니라 한국과 브라질 양국민이 함께 브라질 한인 이민 60주년을 기념하고 축하하는 뜻 깊은 행사가 될 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다. The Consulate General of São Paulo expects that this performance will not only introduce traditional Korean art, but also be a meaningful event to commemorate and celebrate the 60th anniversary of Korean immigration to Brazil together with both Korean and Brazilian people.
