주상파울루 대한민국 총영사관은 한인 이민 60주년을 맞이하여 최근 ‘브라질 이민일기’라는 제목의 이민 다큐멘터리를 제작(감독 : 이규석 작가)하였으며, 지난 2.6에는 다큐멘터리 인터뷰에 참여한 이민자들을 초대하여 시사회를 개최한바 있다. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in São Paulo recently produced a documentary about Korean immigration titled ‘Brazilian Immigration Diary’ (Director: Lee Kyu-seok), in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Korean immigration to Brazil. On February 6th, the consulate also hosted a screening for the documentary, inviting immigrants who participated in the interviews to attend.

브라질 한인 이민 60주년 기념 다큐멘터리(브라질 이민일기) 상영회(4.19)

※ 다큐멘터리에는 1963.2.13. 산토스항을 통하여 최초로 입국한 백옥빈 여사(100세), 이민 수용소에서 태어나 금년 60세를 맞이하는 Heloisa Yang과 이민 초기 한인동포의 브라질 정착에 많은 도움을 준 일명 ‘미다’ 할아버지의 자녀(Satie Mita) 외에도 현재 각계각층에서 활약하고 있는 다수 동포들의 생생한 역사적 증언과 각종 기록(영상, 사진)이 포함되어 있다. ※ The documentary includes vivid historical testimonies and various records such as videos and photos from diverse Korean descendants who are currently active in various fields, in addition to Baek Ok-bin, the first person to enter Brazil on February 13, 1963, through Santos Port, Heloisa Yang who was born in an immigration detention center and is celebrating her 60th birthday this year, and the children of ‘Mida’ grandfather who provided a lot of help in the early settlement of Korean immigrants in Brazil.
특히, 금번 다큐멘터리에는 우리 동포뿐만이 아니라 현지인들도 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 화면에 자막(국문, 포어)을 달았으며, 상영회 종료 후 미니 삼바공연(다과 포함)도 준비하여 이민 2세, 3세 뿐만 아니라 많은 현지인들도 함께 시청하면서 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In particular, for this documentary, subtitles (in Korean and Portuguese) have been added to the screen so that not only our compatriots but also locals can easily understand it. After the screening, a mini samba performance (including refreshments) has been prepared, and it is expected that not only second and third-generation immigrants but also many locals will be able to enjoy a pleasant time together.
