The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Los Angeles, led by Consul General Kim Young-wan, is set to host the first of six webinars aimed at providing information on employment and entrepreneurship laws for Korean youths seeking opportunities abroad. The webinar, titled “Establishing a Business in the U.S. A to Z,” will take place on May 3 at 5 PM and feature guest speaker, lawyer Sung Ki-won, a specialist in startup businesses. The webinar will delve into the various types of business structures, their respective advantages and disadvantages, as well as legal considerations for starting a business, with a focus on the structures of joint-stock companies and limited liability companies (LLC).
LA총영사관, 취업 창업 관련 법률 전문가 초청 웨비나 개최
LA총영사관(총영사 김영완)은 한국 청년들의 해외 취업 및 창업 지원을 위해 취업·창업 관련 법률 정보를 제공하는 첫번째 웨비나(총 6번)를 개최할 예정이다.
이번 웨비나는 5월 3일 17시에 개최되며, “미국에서 사업체 설립하기 A to Z”라는 주제로 스타트업 전문 성기원 변호사 초청, 미국에서 사업을 시작하기 위한 첫 관문인 사업체 설립과 관련하여 각 사업체별 특징과 장단점 및 법률상 주의해야 하는 사항들을, 특히 주식회사와 유한책임회사(LLC) 구조를 중심으로 자세히 알아볼 예정이다. 동 세미나는 한국어로 진행되고, 누구나 무료로 참석이 가능하다.
