– 한국국제문화교류진흥원, 한양대학교ERICA 문화콘텐츠학과와 24일 업무협약 체결
한국국제문화교류진흥원(원장 정길화, 이하 진흥원)은 24일 한양대학교ERICA 국제문화대학 문화콘텐츠학과(학장 박기수)와 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
진흥원은 ‘문화로 한국과 세계를 잇는 네트워크 허브’라는 비전 아래 쌍방향 문화교류 사업 기획·지원, 조사 및 연구, 전문인력 양성 등 국제문화교류와 한류 진흥을 위해 다양한 K-컬처 정책을 펼치고 있다. 한양대학교ERICA 문화콘텐츠학과는 문화콘텐츠 교육 특성화지원사업 등 다양한 국가 인재 양성 사업을 수행하면서 융복합형 문화콘텐츠 전문가를 양성한다는 교육 목표로 문화콘텐츠 산학협력의 허브 역할을 하고 있다.
이번 협약으로 양 기관은 신뢰를 바탕으로 상호 이해와 지속적 협력을 도모한다. 특히 전략적·지속가능한 ‘K콘텐츠 융합인재 양성’을 위한 제반 여건을 구축하여 국제문화교류 현장에 필요한 전문 인력을 양성에 힘쓰고자 한다.
정길화 한국국제문화교류진흥원 원장은 “한양대학교ERICA 문화콘텐츠학과와 함께 끊임없는 창의성으로 새로운 문화콘텐츠를 만들어낼 인재 양성의 징검다리가 되겠다”며 “좋은 한류는 쌍방 교류를 통해 이루지기에 부단한 혁신과 변화로 민간이 안 하고 못하는 공간을 메꾸며 대중과 호흡하고자 한다”고 말했다.
The Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange Promotion (Director Jeong Gil-hwa, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Department of International Culture at Hanyang University ERICA (Dean Park Ki-soo) on the 24th.
Under the vision of being a “network hub connecting Korea and the world through culture,” the Foundation is implementing various K-Culture policies for international cultural exchange and Hallyu promotion, including planning and support for two-way cultural exchange projects, research and surveys, and fostering of professionals in the field. The Department of International Culture at Hanyang University ERICA serves as a hub for cultural content industry-academia collaboration, with the educational goal of cultivating experts in the field of integrated cultural content, while carrying out various national talent development projects, such as specialized support for cultural content education.
Through this agreement, both institutions aim to promote mutual understanding and ongoing cooperation based on trust. In particular, they seek to establish the necessary conditions for cultivating strategic and sustainable “K-Content convergence talent” and to make efforts in nurturing professionals required in the field of international cultural exchange.
Director Jeong Gil-hwa of the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange Promotion stated, “Together with the Department of International Culture at Hanyang University ERICA, we will serve as a stepping stone for nurturing talents who will continuously create new cultural content through unwavering creativity,” adding, “Meaningful Hallyu can only be achieved through bilateral exchange, filling the gap that cannot be filled solely by the private sector, and striving to connect with the public through constant innovation and change.”
