Recruitment for Summer Youth Rights Program Participants
The MinKwon Center is currently accepting applications for its annual summer youth empowerment program. This program aims to provide young individuals with an opportunity to learn about social issues within our global and local communities while actively participating in the center’s activities. The program is open to teenagers aged 13 to 19.
Scheduled to take place from June 28th to August 23rd, the Summer Youth Empowerment Program offers immigrant adolescents a chance to discover their path as responsible members of society. Participants will engage in discussions and educational sessions focusing on pressing matters affecting our communities. Moreover, they will have the chance to actively contribute to the initiatives undertaken by the MinKwon Center.
In addition to the valuable knowledge and experiences gained, eligible students will have the opportunity to earn volunteer credits recognized by their schools. The program will be hosted at the MinKwon Center located at 133-29 41st Ave Suite 202, Flushing.
