그들이 ‘부부’일 거라고 여긴 까닭은, 그런 오랜 사랑이 있기를 바래서였을 것이다. 건장한 두 은행나무를 보니, 그 오랜 사랑에도 그들은 지치지 않았고, 항상 곁에 붙어 있어도 싫증내지 않았다. 400년 세월을 그들은 그곳에서 함께 있었다. 지금도 여전히 그들은 함께다.

경상북도 청도 운문사입니다. 1년에 딱 이틀 동안만 개방하는 청도 운문사 은행나무~~~ 스님들의 수행 공간에 자리 잡고 있기에 평소에는 출입금지 공간이라 멀리서만 볼수 있었는데 이틀간 개방하였기에 새벽같이 나가서 보고 왔네요.

개방 날짜는 은행잎이 물들때 쯤 인터넷으로 눈빠지게 검색 해봐야 해요. 공개적으로 홍보를 많이 하지 않아서 정보가 많지 않아요.

날씨 탓에 은행 잎이 좀 떨어지긴 했어도 떨어진 은행잎도 멋스럽네요. 수령 400년의 은행나무는 멋지고도 이뻣습니다~
