Korean Traditional Culture University produces 5 successful candidates in the national intangible cultural heritage qualification examination
문화재청 한국전통문화대학교(총장 강경환)는 지난달 20일(월)부터 31일(금)까지 진행한 ‘2023년도 국가무형문화재 이수심사’ 결과 총 5명의 이수자를 배출하였다.
The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korean Traditional Culture University (President Kang Kyung-hwan) announced that they have produced a total of five successful candidates in the “2023 National Intangible Cultural Heritage Qualification Examination,” which was held from the 20th to the 31st of last month.
2020년에 시작돼 올해로 3번째를 맞는 이번 한국전통문화대학교 전수교육학교의 국가무형문화재 이수심사는 단청장, 목조각장, 한산모시짜기 3개 종목을 대상으로 진행되었으며, 자격을 갖춘 재학생 및 졸업생 16명이 응시한 결과 2개 분야에서 총 5명의 이수자를 배출하였다. 합격자는 ▲ 단청장: 곽선혜, 신윤진, 오지우, 이원정, ▲ 한산모시짜기: 주혜연으로 그간 이수 종목을 성실하게 배우고 심사에서 이론 및 기능을 인정받았다.
This year’s Korean Traditional Culture University National Intangible Cultural Heritage Qualification Examination, which started in 2020 and is now in its third year, was conducted for three categories: Dancheongjang (traditional Korean coloring of wooden buildings), Mokjogakjang (traditional Korean woodworking), and Hansan Mosi Jjagi (traditional Korean hemp fabric weaving). A total of 16 students, including enrolled and graduated students with appropriate qualifications, took the examination, resulting in five successful candidates in two categories. The successful candidates are Kwak Seon-hye, Shin Yun-jin, Oh Ji-woo, Lee Won-jeong for Dancheongjang and Joo Hye-yeon for Hansan Mosi Jjagi, all of whom have demonstrated their knowledge and skills in the respective fields.
2017년 국가무형문화재 전수교육학교로 선정된 한국전통문화대학교는 올해로 7년에 걸쳐 전통미술공예학과의 전통도자, 전통섬유, 전통조각, 전통회화 각 전공에 맞춰 제와장, 한산모시짜기, 목조각장, 단청장 총 4개의 무형문화재 종목을 교육하고 있다. 이수심사 자격을 갖추기 위해서는 입학 후 6학기를 이수하고 선정된 교과목 중 필수과목 포함 총 21학점 이상을 수강해야 한다.
Korean Traditional Culture University, selected as a national intangible cultural heritage education school in 2017, has been offering education in four intangible cultural heritage categories, namely Jewajang (traditional Korean roof tile making), Hansan Mosi Jjagi, Mokjogakjang, and Dancheongjang, tailored to the traditional fine arts and crafts department’s majors such as traditional pottery, traditional textiles, traditional sculpture, and traditional painting for seven years. To qualify for the qualification examination, students must complete six semesters after admission and take more than 21 credits, including required courses among the selected courses.
단청장(4명), 한산모시짜기(1명)… 국내 유일 전통문화 전문인 양성 기관으로 입지 더욱 굳힐 예정
문화재청 한국전통문화대학교는 2023년 전수교육학교 이수심사에서 이뤄낸 성과를 바탕으로 미래의 국가무형문화재 인재들이 그 꿈에 한 걸음 더 다가설 수 있는 발판을 마련할 예정이며, 나아가 전통문화를 계승·발전시킬 우수한 학생들을 배출하는 국내 유일의 전통문화 전문인 양성 대학으로서의 역할을 더욱 공고히 해나갈 것이다.
The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korean Traditional Culture University plan to use the results of the 2023 qualification examination as a stepping stone for future national intangible cultural heritage talents to realize their dreams. Moreover, they will continue to play a more significant role as the only domestic university specializing in traditional culture, producing excellent students who will continue to inherit and develop the traditional culture.
