Recruitment of Volunteers and Sponsors for Spring Community Festival
The Human Rights Center is gearing up for the upcoming spring community festival, which is just a month away, and is currently recruiting volunteers and sponsors to participate in the event.
The spring community festival will take place on Saturday, May 27th from 10am to 2pm at the Glow Community Center, located at 133-29 41st St., 1st floor, Flushing. The festival will offer various welfare programs and health insurance information, free COVID-19 testing and health screenings, music and arts/crafts workshops, snacks and drinks.
Sponsors for the event include the Overseas Korean Foundation, and participating organizations include the Korean Art Forum, Queens New York Presbyterian Hospital (with Anthony Choi, MD and Jeong Jaeyoon, PT), Gabriel Kim, DPM, the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Services, the New York City Commission on Human Rights, the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, and the Flushing Queensboro Lions Club.
