플러싱에서 동네 노래 자랑 이벤트 ‘오픈 스트리트, 오픈 마이크’ 행사가 열립니다. 민권센터와 함께 아태계정치력신장위원회(APA VOICE)에서 활동하고 있는 코리안 커뮤니티 미디어 브로드캐스팅(KCMB) 등이 주최합니다.

- 누구나 참여할 수 있습니다. 동네 주민들과 함께하는 노래 자랑 이벤트에 참여하는 분들에게는 머레이힐 식당 식권 및 각종 경품 추첨 기회도 드립니다.
- 댄스팀도 환영합니다. 최대 100달러 식권이 걸린 경품 추첨도 함께합니다.

KCMB는 한인사회 곳곳을 누비며 생생한 소식을 전하고 있습니다. 또 민권센터의 ‘커뮤니티 액션’ 프로그램을 매주 제작해주고 있는 한인 비영리 미디어 단체입니다. 많은 참여 바랍니다.
Open Street, Open Mic’ – Singing Event
Open Street, Open Mic neighborhood singing event will be held in Flushing. The event is organized by Korean Community Media Broadcasting (KCMB), a community media organization working with APA VOICE.
The Open Street, Open Mic singing event will take place on May 20th (Sat) from 2 pm to 5 pm at Murray Hill’s food alley (Barton Ave. Murray Hill, Queens, near the Murray Hill train station). Anyone can participate in the singing event with their neighbors, and participants will have a chance to win Murray Hill restaurant vouchers and various prizes through raffles. Dance teams are also welcome, and there will be a raffle with a grand prize of up to $100 in restaurant vouchers.

The event is jointly sponsored by the Asian American Federation, KCMB, the New York City Department of Transportation, and the New York City Open Streets program.
KCMB reports on vivid news from various Korean communities and produces the weekly “Community Action” program for the Civil Rights Center. We hope many people will participate in the event.
