[K-pop] “The Moon of Seoul” / Kim, Gun-mo

His music had a tone and song that had not been found anywhere else in K-pop. Based on jazz and soul, which was unfamiliar at the time, ‘black music’ with hip-hop and reggae added to it was melted into an exciting melody, opening a new path for popular music.

    [o·neul / bam / ba·la / bon]
    Looked at tonight
    [jeo / dal·i / neo·mu / cheo·lyang·hae]
    That moon is so plaintive
    [neo·do / na·cheo·leom / oe·lo·wo]
Because you are lonely like me
    [teong / bin / ga·seum / an·go / sa·neun·gu·na]
So you live with an empty heart
    [teong / bin / bang / an·e / nu·wo]
    Lying in an empty room
    [i / saeng·gag / jeo·leon / saeng·gag·e]
    This thought, that thought
    [gi·na / gin / han·sum / dam·bae / yeon·gi]
    Long long sigh, cigarette smoke
    [tto / ha·lu·ga / ji·na·go]
    Another day goes by

    [ha·na / doe·neun / ge / eobs·go]
     Nothing is working out
    [sa·lang·do / tteo·na·ga / beo·li·go]
    Love went away too
    [sul·jan·e / bi·chin]
Reflected in the glass of wine
    [jeo / ha·neul·ui / dal·gwa]
With the moon in the sky
    [han / jan / ju·geo·ni / bad·geo·ni]
Give me a drink or take it
    [i / bam·i / ga·neun·gu·na]
    This night is going by
    [o·neul / bam / ba·la bon]
    Looked at tonight
    [jeo / dal·i / neo·mu / cheo·lyang·hae]
    That moon is so plaintive
    [neo·do / na·cheo·leom / oe·lo·wo]
Because you are lonely like me
    [teong / bin / ga·seum / an·go / sa·neun·gu·na]
So you live with an empty heart
    [ga·kkeum / bi·ga / nae·li·myeon]
    Sometimes it rains
    [gu·leum·e / ni / mo·seub·i / ga·lyeo]
Your face is covered by the clouds
    [eo·du·un / geo·li / tto / sseul·sseul·hae·ji·ne]
The dark street becomes lonely again
    [teong / bin / i / geo·li / o·neul·do]
    This empty street again today
    [hon·ja·seo / geol·eo·ga·ne]
    Walking alone
    [o·neul / bam / ba·la / bon]
    Looked at tonight
    [jeo / dal·i / neo·mu / cheo·lyang·hae]
    That moon is so plaintive
    [neo·do / na·cheo·leom / oe·lo·wo]
Because you too are lonely like me
    [teong / bin / ga·seum / an·go / sa·neun·gu·na]
So you live with an empty heart

    [seul·peun / chu·eog / an·go / sa·neun·gu·na]
    You live with sad memories
