Story of K-pop
She left behind ‘one more time’
In 1987, when Park Seong-shin was a freshman at Seoul Institute of the Arts, she won the 11th MBC University Song Festival with a song called ‘Reminiscence’ and made his debut. And in 1988 she won the Singing Award and Encouragement Award for the song ‘Rainy Afternoon’ at the 9th MBC Riverside Song Festival.
She was loved by many fans for ‘One More Time’, and she won the Korea Golden Disc Rookie of the Year Award. Afterwards ‘One More Time’ was also remade by several junior singers such as Lee Seung-gi.
She left behind the hit “One More Time”, and died suddenly of heart disease on August 8, 2014. She was 45 years old.
