NAKASEC 전국 회의 마무리
어제(16일) 소식을 전했던 미주한인봉사교육단체협의회(NAKASEC) 전국 회의가 마무리됐습니다.
The national conference of the NAKASEC, a Korean-American volunteer education organization that was reported yesterday (on the 16th), has concluded.
텍사스주 휴스턴에서 모인 민권센터를 비롯한 NAKASEC 가입/협력 단체 스태프와 이사, 자원봉사자 150여 명은 앞으로도 한인과 아시안, 이민자 커뮤니티 권익과 정치력 신장을 위해 최선을 다할 것을 다짐했습니다.
150 staff members, directors, and volunteers from various cooperating organizations, including NAKASEC and the Civil Rights Center gathered in Houston, Texas, pledged to continue their efforts to protect the rights and enhance the political power of Korean, Asian, and immigrant communities.
서류미비자(불법체류자) 납세자 번호 안내
그리고 1994년 NAKASEC 창립 이래 29년 동안 이어온 서류미비자 권익과 합법화 운동도 결코 포기하지 않고 더욱 힘차게 펼쳐나갈 것을 서로 약속했습니다. 한편 최근 NAKASEC과 민권센터가 함께 만든 서류미비자를 위한 납세자 번호 안내 영상 두 개를 유튜브 채널에 올렸습니다.
Since its founding in 1994, NAKASEC has continued its efforts for the rights and legalization of undocumented immigrants for 29 years without giving up, and we have promised to carry on these efforts with even greater vigor. Recently, NAKASEC and the MinKwon Center have created two YouTube videos to guide undocumented immigrants on obtaining taxpayer identification numbers.
