일본 정부의 후쿠시마 원전 핵 폐수를 태평양에 방출하는 결정을 저지하기 위해서 국제사회와 특히 그 피해가 가장 클 것으로 예상되는 태평양 연안 국가들의 긴급한 조치가 필요합니다. 많은 과학자들은 캘리포니아를 포함한 미서부 해안도 결코 안전하지 않다고 경고하고 있습니다.
이에 많은 우려를 하고있는 시민들이 2023년 7월 8일 토요일 오전 11시, 350 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90071 (View Map)에 위치한 일본 영사관 앞에서 시위를 개최할 예정입니다.
후쿠시마 핵 폐수를 바다에 방출하는 결정은 오랜 시간에 걸쳐서 환경과 인류에 광범위한 악영향을 끼칠것으로 예상됩니다. 이번 시위는 이런한 우리의 우려를 표명하고 이 위험한 행위에 대한 일본정부의 결정을 규탄하고 철회할 것을 요구하기 위한 것입니다.
“인류에 대재앙이 될 일본정부의 이번 후쿠시마 핵 폐슈 행양 방류 결정을 즉각 철회하고, 우리와 우리 아이들이 살아갈 지구의 환경과 사람을 우선시하는 대안적인 해결책을 요구하는 강력한 메시지를 전달할 것입니다. 정치인, 환경 단체 및 관심 있는 개인들의 참여와 지원 모두 환영합니다. 여러분의 참여는 지역사회의 목소리를 강화하고 즉각적인 조치의 필요성을 강조할 것입니다. 함께 행동해서 후쿠시마 핵 폐수 행양 방류를 반드시 막아내야 겠습니다.” 시위 주최자 중 한 명인 올리비아 김 씨는 말하며 시위에 참여해 줄것을 호소하고 있습니다.

Protest Rally: Demanding Action Against the Release of Fukushima Nuclear Wastewater
Urgent action is needed to address the potential catastrophe of releasing Fukushima nuclear wastewater into the Pacific Ocean. In an effort to raise awareness and demand decisive action, concerned citizens will gather for a protest rally on Saturday, July 8th, at 11:00 AM in front of the Japanese Consulate at 350 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90071.
The decision to discharge Fukushima’s nuclear contaminated water into the ocean has far-reaching consequences for both the environment and humanity. This rally aims to express our collective concern and demand a reconsideration of this perilous course of action.

We must unite to protect our planet and its inhabitants from the potential devastation.” “By participating in the protest rally, we can send a powerful message to the Japanese government and the international community, urging alternative solutions that prioritize environmental preservation and human health.” “We invite everyone who shares our deep concern for the well-being of our planet to join us on July 8th.
