시즌2에서 박연진의 운명은 어떻게 될지 정말 궁금해집니다.

1. The dark secrets get revealed
- In the final scene of season 1, episode 8, when Yeon-jin visits Dong-eun’s house, she is shocked to see the collection of photos Dong-eun has been gathering.
시즌1, 8화 마지막 장면에서 연진이가 동은의 집에 왔을 때, 그동안 수집한 사진을 보고 깜짝 놀랍니다.
- Among them, she may find a picture of Dong-eun’s body with burn marks, during their high school days
그 중에서 고등학교 시절 동은의 화상 상처 사진을 발견합니다.
- Yeon-jin tears off the photo and later burns it to destroy the evidence.
연진이는 그 사건의 증거를 나중에 불에 태우려고 따로 떼어서 숨겨 놓습니다.
- Later, when Do-young enters Dong-eun’s room, he is shocked to see the pictures hanging on the wall, which were meticulously prepared.
그 이후 동은의 집에 들어온 도영은 그동안 치밀하게 준비한 과정을 보며 충격을 받습니다.

도영이가 자신의 가족사진들을 보자 매우 불쾌함을 드러냅니다.

정작 연진이는 중요한 사진은 숨겼기에 남편에게 “한 번 봐.”라고 당당하게 말 합니다.
- “You finally opened that box,” she remarks with her trademark audacity, trying to play down the situation.”
결국 열었네, 그 상자를.” 연진의 특유한 뻔뻔함으로 이 상황을 모면하려고 합니다.
- However, when Dong-eun realizes that the key evidence photo of her burn marks is missing upon returning home
하지만, 동은이가 집에 도착하고 고데기의 핵심 증거 사진이 없어진 것을 알아차리자
- She plans to show the burn scars directly to Ha Do-young, revealing them publicly in a building that looks like a hotel, in front of other people.
호텔처럼 보이는 건물에서 하도영과 다른 사람들이 앞에서 직접 화상 흉터를 보여주게 됩니다.
- This means that Dong-eun will seek revenge not in secrecy but through a confident, face-to-face confrontation.
동은이가 예전처럼 숨기지 않고 당당하게 정면대결로 복수를 시작할 것이라는 뜻입니다.
- Dong-eun appears at the broadcasting station where Yeon-jin works, intending to pressure her psychologically.
동은은 연진이 일하는 방송국에 등장하며 심리적으로 압박하고자 합니다.
- “The reason I came here today is to give you one last chance.”
“내가 오늘 여기 온 이유는 너한테 마지막 기회를 주고 싶어서야.”
- “Take all of this and confess. Confess to all the things you did to cover up what you did.”
“이거 다 들고 가서 자수해. 네가 한 짓들 덮으려고 한 더한 짓들 다 자백하라고”
- Yeon-jin scoffs at Dong-eun’s offer of a chance for forgiveness and asks, “Who is accusing whom?”
“누가 누굴?” 이라며 비웃습니다.
- “I haven’t done anything wrong”
”난 잘 못한 게 없어. 동은아”
- “Why do disadvantaged people think that life only consists of karma and retribution?”
“왜 없는 것들은 인생엔 권선징악, 인과응보만 있는 줄 알까?”
- Mentioning “karma and cause-and-effect” shows that Yeon-jin is aware of her wrongful actions, but she does not necessarily believe that she deserves punishment.
‘권선징악, 인과응보’를 언급하는 것은 자신의 잘못된 행동에 대한 인지는 하지만 꼭 벌 받을 필요는 없다고 생각한다는 의미입니다.
- Her arrogance is evident in the fact that she has always solved problems with money and power, so she tells Dong-eun not to expect the same from her.
항상 돈과 권력으로 문제를 해결할 수 있을 거라는 오만함이 드러 납니다.
- Despite being the main perpetrator against Dong-eun, Yeon-jin shows no signs of remorse or guilt.
동은에게 가장 큰 가해자였음에도 박연진에게는 일말의 죄책감이나 반성의 기미는 찾아볼 수 없습니다.

연진이는 소희의 사망 사건뿐 아니라 명오의 실종 사건 후에도 무당 집에 가서 소금을 맞습니다.
- The salt treatment is a traditional Korean practice that involves rubbing salt on the body to ward off evil spirits and negative energy
한국 무속 신앙에서 소금을 뿌리는 행위는 나쁜 기운을 씻어 준다고 믿습니다.
- In the official trailer, Dong -eun and Yeonjin came together in the house.
공식 예고편에서는 이례적으로 동은과 연진이 무당집에 같이 왔습니다.

- First, she approaches Dong-eun’s mother and offers her a money box.
먼저, 동은의 엄마에게 접근하여 돈상자를 건냅니다.
- Just like high school years, when Dong-eun’s mother made an agreement with a withdrawal letter and a statement, she is bought with money again.
고등학교 때 동은 엄마에게 돈으로 자퇴서와 진술서에 합의를 했던 것처럼, 이번에도 동은의 엄마는 돈으로 매수합니다.
- Yeon-jin tells Dong-eun’s mother to go to Dong-eun’s school and cause a commotion. This is part of Yeon-jin’s retaliation plan.”
연진은 동은의 엄마에게 동은의 학교에 찾아가서 소란을 피우라고 시킵니다.
- “Dong-eun’s mother goes to the school with the money she received and causes a scene, embarrassing Dong-eun in front of everyone.
동은의 엄마는 건네 받은 돈으로 학교에 가서 미친사람처럼 소란을 피워 동은이 망신 당하게 합니다.
- Dong-eun cries out, “You shouldn’t have taken the side of my daughter’s bully.”
동은은 엄마에게 “딸 가해자 편 드는 것 만큼은 하지 말았어야지.” 라며 오열합니다.
- It is highly likely that Dong-eun’s facial scar, shown in the trailer, is the result of her mother’s abuse.
예고편에 나왔던 동은 얼굴의 상처는 엄마가 낸 것일 가능성이 큽니다.

- The marks left by tearing off the photo and the simple furnishings of the house indicate that it is Dong-eun’s house at a glance.
사진을 뗀 자국과 단촐한 가구들을 보면 동은의 집임을 한 눈에 알 수 있습니다.

누군가 동은이를 겨냥해 불을 질렀을 것입니다.
- The second character is Kang Hyun-nam, Dong-eun’s spy and accomplice.
두 번째 인물은 동은의 스파이이자 조력자인 강현남입니다.
- When attempting to uncover secrets at a fortune-telling house with her disguise skills, she was discovered by one of captain Shin’s subordinates.
위장술로 점집에서 비밀을 캐내려고 할 때 신서장 부하직원에게 정체를 들켰을 것 같습니다.
- Yeon-jin smirks evilly and offers to take care of Hyun-nam’s husband in exchange for the camera’s SD card.
박연진은 사악한 미소를 지으며 카메라 SD카드를 받는 대신 현남 남편을 처리해 주겠다고 제안을 합니다.
- Hyun-nam has risked much to obtain this valuable information and will go to great lengths to protect it.
현남은 그동안 위험을 무릅쓰고 찍은 소중한 정보이기에 뺏기지 않으려고 애를 쓸 것입니다
- During the violent struggle to take the SD card, Hyun-nam’s face is injured.
그 카메라 SD카드를 받아가는 과정에서 현남 얼굴에 상처가 생긴 것 같습니다.
- Yeon-jin’s mother and captain Shin intentionally cause a car accident targeting Hyun-nam’s husband.
연진 엄마와 신서장이 차를 몰고 가서 현남 남편을 향해 고의로 사고를 냅니다.
- This was actually part of Dong-eun’s plan, who did not want blood on her own hands.
사실 이는 자신의 손에는 직접 피를 묻히지 않겠다던 동은의 계획안에 들어있던 각본입니다.

늘 앞서서 딸의 문제를 돈과 권력으로 쉽게 해결을 했으나, 이번에는 연진의 앞에 동은이가 서 있다는 것을 모르고 있는 듯합니다.
- Yeon-jin has been ensnared by Dong-eun’s fog, which is so thick and unpredictable that it is like the fog with the highest rate of fatal accidents.
연진은 자욱해서 한치 앞도 예견할 수 없는 동은의 안개에 확실하게 걸려들었습니다.
- As she moves forward, the fog thickens, and eventually, it will swallow Yeon-jin.”
사망사고가 가장 많다는 안개처럼 앞으로 나아갈수록 짙어지는 안개가 연진을 삼키게 될 것 입니다.
