The South Korean Embassy in Singapore (Ambassador Choi Hoon) actively promoted Korean culture to hospice patients, hospital staff, and visitors at the ‘Assisi International Day’ held at Assisi Hospice Hospital in Singapore on March 23rd (Thursday).
The event was designed to provide the joy of travel to hospice patients who are unable to travel due to mobility issues, and about 10 countries including Korea, Mexico, Indonesia, and Italy participated.
With the help of Korean international school students, the embassy set up a Korean promotional booth and showcased a traditional Korean play. The event was successfully concluded with positive feedback from guests who visited the event venue.
주싱가포르대한민국대사관(대사 최훈)은 3.23(목) 싱가포르 Assisi Hospice 병원에서 열린 ‘Assisi International Day’에 참가하여 호스피스 환자, 병원 관계자, 방문객들에게 한국 문화를 적극 홍보하였습니다.
이번 행사는 거동이 불편하여 여행을 갈 수 없는 호스피스 환자들에게 여행의 즐거움을 제공하자는 취지에서 기획된 행사로, 한국을 포함한 멕시코, 인도네시아, 이탈리아 등 약 10개국이 참여하였습니다.
당관은 한국 국제학교 학생들의 도움을 받아 한국 홍보 부스 설치 및 사물 놀이 무대를 선보였으며 행사장을 방문한 손님들의 좋은 반응과 함께 행사를 성공적으로 마무리하였습니다.
